Carnival Cruise Line is taking its commitment to the Baltimore region to new heights. Starting in the fall of 2027, the company will homeport two ships in the city for the first time, offering a wider range of cruise options and itineraries to its guests. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the company's long-standing relationship with the area.
The Carnival Miracle will be the first to arrive, setting sail from Italy on November 20, 2027. It will offer seven-, eight-, and nine-day cruises to the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean, as well as 12- and 14-day journeys to exotic destinations like Dominica, Guadeloupe, and St. Maarten. This variety in itineraries and ships, as Carnival President Christine Duffy states, will provide guests with more reasons to choose a Carnival Cruise vacation.
Carnival Pride, already a year-round fixture in Baltimore, will continue its operations, offering cruises to the Bahamas and Bermuda, as well as popular Southern Caribbean destinations. This expansion not only benefits Carnival Cruise Line but also reinforces Baltimore's status as a key port for the company, attracting more visitors and boosting the local economy.
The addition of these two ships in Baltimore is a testament to Carnival's commitment to providing its guests with diverse and exciting cruise experiences. With this expansion, Carnival Cruise Line is poised to become an even more prominent player in the cruise industry, offering travelers a wide range of options and destinations to choose from.
